Vitals for your store, and for your readers

Sell Vitals at your own price, in your currency, and pay only for the codes your buyers redeem. Reviewing it? A full license is yours for the asking.

01Sell

Your price, your currency, nothing up front

For stores, resellers, bundles and Mac user groups. We send you a batch of Vitals codes. You set the price, in your own currency, and take payment the way your buyers like to pay. Nothing to pay up front, and no minimum.

Codes nobody redeems cost you nothing. Once a month we send you the codes redeemed that month and an invoice at your partner price, a discount on ours that we agree with you first.

02Redeem

A key in your buyer’s inbox in a minute

Your buyer enters the code and an email address on vitalsmac.com/redeem, and the license key arrives by email. One code covers one Mac. Several codes redeemed with one address go on one key, and a code bought later adds a Mac to it.

They get every feature of Vitals and every update, for life, and the app in their language: Vitals speaks 12 of them. Anything about the app, they ask us. You look after the sale; we look after Vitals.

The page: vitalsmac.com/redeem. A partner can link to it with the code already filled in.

Your key is sent to this address, so check it twice. It doesn’t have to be the one you gave the partner.

The same form your buyers see.

03Pay

Pay for what sold

At the end of each month you get the list of codes redeemed that month and one invoice for them at your partner price. A code that was refunded is taken off. Nothing else is ever charged.

Frequently asked questions

Something else? Email [email protected] and a person replies.

Do I pay anything up front?

No. The codes cost nothing until a buyer redeems one. At the end of the month you get the list of codes redeemed and an invoice for them at your partner price, and that is all you ever pay.

What is the partner price?

A discount on our price, agreed with you before the first codes go out. Write and tell us how you sell and how many codes you expect to need, and we agree it with you.

What price should I charge?

Your own. Most partners stay close to our price in their currency, so a buyer who compares does not feel caught out, but the price is yours to set.

When is an invoice due?

Within 30 days. By then every code on it is past the 14-day refund window, so the amount is final. If an invoice goes unpaid, your unused codes are paused until it is paid. Codes your buyers have already redeemed keep working.

What if a buyer wants a refund?

Refund them yourself, the way you refund anything else you sell, and send us the code within 14 days of it being redeemed. We switch it off and take it off your invoice. A redeemed code that is switched off takes its Mac back from the license.

Who handles sales tax and VAT?

You do. You are the seller to your buyers, so sales tax, VAT and receipts are yours to handle.

Who can I sell codes to?

To the people who will use them, not to other resellers or key sites. Codes that turn up for sale somewhere else are switched off.

Can I use the Vitals name and screenshots?

Yes, as they are. Describe Vitals truthfully, and use our name, icon and screenshots without changing them. The facts above are ready to copy.

Can I sell Vitals in a bundle?

Yes. Tell us what else is in it and the price. The codes work the same way, and the invoice counts the ones redeemed.

How do I get codes for a giveaway?

Ask. For a review or a giveaway we send a handful of free codes, and the buyer redeems them the same way, on vitalsmac.com/redeem.

What happens if either of us stops?

Either of us can stop at any time. Codes your buyers have already redeemed keep working, and the unused ones are switched off.

Who answers my email?

Atta, who builds Vitals. Every request is read by a person and answered within a day or two.
